Jason Smith has over a decade of experience helping clients build and distribute wealth. With an extensive background in retirement income planning, investment management, and estate planning, he helps clients of all types achieve their financial goals. Since his start in the financial industry, Jason has held roles in numerous areas including client services, investment research and analysis, financial planning, and portfolio construction and management. In addition to working with clients independently, Jason works jointly with other financial advisors and partners with local banks to provide wealth management services.
Jason firmly upholds a fiduciary duty to his clients and focuses on providing outstanding care and service. He earned his baccalaureate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he holds FINRA Series 7, 66, and 24 securities registrations, and he is currently a candidate for the CFA® Charter. Jason is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and provides financial planning services in a variety of disciplines. In addition, he is licensed to assist clients with life and long-term care insurance solutions. He and his family reside in Central Illinois and his hobbies include global travel, scuba diving, hiking and many other outdoor activities, as well as reading and continuing his education.
